Whitehall's £25 million project wins top award for security excellence - 26 June 2008

Atkins part of provisional preferred bidder JV for M25 widening contract - 8 May 2008

The Highways Agency has announced that it has selected Connect Plus, a joint venture in which WS Atkins plc (Atkins) is a 10% shareholder with Balfour Beatty, Skanska and Egis, as the provisional preferred bidder for the 30-year, M25 Widening Design Build Finance and Operate (DBFO) contract.

Worth in total more than £150 million, Atkins will undertake detailed design and development of two major improvements to the UK’s strategic road network, and provide management and maintenance services for 1300 kilometres of trunk road and motorway.
