Atkins takes pride in the quality of products and services we provide to our clients.
We are committed to inspiring and challenging our clients to deliver sustainable solutions through Carbon Critical Design. We also ensure our principles of safety leadership are embedded in our work.
Two of our businesses, Rail and Middle East & India, have been actively engaging with industry on environmental issues through Rail Industry Environmental Forum (RIEF) and the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) respectively.
Quality assurance
The US division of Faithful+Gould recently achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification which means that 100% of Atkins operations are covered by this standard. Going forward, all Atkins operations will use the same certification body, Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA). This will provide better analysis of performance and identification of key themes across the whole business.
Client feedback
We continue to improve how we engage with our clients and to obtain better feedback on our performance through Key Account Management (KAM) and Client Relationship Management (CRM).
Working with our supply chain
In 2008 we are also reviewing how we engage and influence our supply chain on CR priorities depending on the services they provide to Atkins.
